6. Use the ELEVATOR rathen than the STAIRS if ALONE

In a building, always use or take the elevator instead of the stairs if you are already alone.

Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot, especially at night.

If you have no other choice but to go home late, make sure you will go down with someone if not, make sure you are using an elevator with security camera. If not, do not use the stairs going down.

If no other choice, make sure you know the place so well. Someone is there or if not, you should always be alert. Look behind you and look down. Don't move for few seconds and listen to any sounds of steps and other sign of other human being around.
