If a robber asks for your wallet or purse or bag. DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Instead, toss it away from you. Chances are that he is more interested in your wallet or purse or bag than you, then he will go for that, then if you have the power, RUN LIKE MAN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.

In this manner, you can have time to escape from him. Make sure you RUN towards a direction you know you can be safe.

Stay in a lighted area.
